Hourly Comic Day - 2025

It is a longstanding tradition in comics for cartoonists to participate in an annual ‘Hourly Comic Day’ on February 1st. The idea is for artists to draw every hour of their waking day to give the world a peak into their lives. It is often a rigorous and humbling exercise in vulnerability, forcing artists to accept and share the flaws of their quick doodles without the extra time to ruminate.

In my many years as a cartoonist, I have made multiple attempts to participate in this fleeting community moment. Usually ending with a few half hearted sketches and a resignation that anything I finished would be too heinous to share. But this year, much to my surprise, I quite liked my doodles and completed thirteen comics in 24 hours.

Here are my panels for 2025. I hope you enjoy :)
